Daniel Callender, Esq.

Daniel is a partner of Allen & Partners. Mr. Callender advises on compliance with British and international anti-corruption measures such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act as well as U.S. anti-money laundering laws and export controls. Daniel works with clients by developing anti-corruption compliance programs, performing due diligence , providing training and investigations on risky business practices. In addition to his strong background in international law, he also has a solid background in corporate law, international arbitration, international trade law and transactional practice.

After graduating from Middlesex University Law School in London, England in 1999, he received an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from George Washington University Law School. Obumneme subsequently became a member of the New York Bar in 2003, a member of the Maryland Bar in 2007 and the District of Columbia Bar in 2010. He also worked as an intern at The Africa Fund, where he gained valuable experience analyzing and researching African issues related to domestic/international policies, international trade, protection of human rights and the advancement of democracy.
